2p per litre at midnight. Fill up now, save yourselves a fortune with those big gas guzzlers you drive. ;)

I couldn't care less what the duty is, my neighbour still supplies 25 litres of diesel for £15 no matter what :D

Quite simple Steve.
I give him £15 sterling, he gives me 25 litres of "pump white".
I don't care where it comes from, and I doubt he cares where he gets it from either - it's just an arrangement that suits the pair of us ;)

I can't be bothered to research the old "Brainiac" type proggys that have been on, but I'm pretty sure that it was proved that these so called "super" fuels made no difference whatsoever.
-
i kind of agree with you mate but if i use anything else my car runs like a bag of sh1te

Not sure on the more MPG claims, but mine definately started better in cold weather. I had an issue with tired glo-plugs and with Tesco diesel, if it was below 3 deg C, it would be a real pain in the butt to start. With BP Ultimate it started no problem.
New glo plugs and it starts and runs fine with any old diesel. ::)

Filled mine up today, weekly visit to S-burys. £1.049/ltr, just over £30 for 156 miles. :(

24.6mpg. Not good for an oil burner.

Blimey! My merc viano does that running about town!...and its an auto too!
I used about £30 earlier doing a trip to Elstree studios and back.....180 miles round trip!....and i was pushing it a bit ::)
-
Tesco are bringing the 5p off vouchers today. :y They told me yesterday, in the filling station, after I had shopped and filled up with diesel...... ::) ::) :'(
-
for the sake of a couple of quid? Nope. Cost more to go and get it probably.
-
No.Just been to the smoke and back on the bike so it must be nearly empty.
The car is showing about 25 miles left, but its a 15 mile round trip to Sainsburys to fill it up so any saving made would be more than offset by the trip.
-
nope. For the sake of a couple of quid on a fill up. Probably cost more to go and get it. And there will be a queue.

I agree.Tried it and am sure it made no difference. :y
-
Filled up with LPG, because I was empty, but didn't bother with the petrol as I got a 5p Tesco voucher yesterday :y :y
-
No, mind you in the scheme of things it makes no difference really as there is so much variance in my MPG.
Might get the bike tyres pumped up though ;)
-
and I thought I was doing badly getting 200 miles out of 30 litres out of my 2.5!
-
