Hi I am also unemployed at the moment, and also have a list long driving licence.
you can drive class 1 / 2 Lgv/Hgv, also waggon and drag.
You can get your digi card by getting an applicetion form from the post office or your local dvla ( the latter is easyer as you can talk to someone) your first card is free and lasts for 5 years.
hope you have better luck in your area for a job than me in my area.
Be very carefull with agencys as you only get paid for working when they have work.

Sorry to hear about your bad news moggy. Hope you get sorted out soon :y :y :y
Thanks zulu i will keep trying, the wife says im very trying ;D

Kevin whats mgw :question
Maximum Gross Weight
MGW also known as maximum authorised mass (MAM), used in the context of driving licences, is the maximum weight of a vehicle or trailer including the maximum load that can be carried safely while used on the road. This is also known as gross vehicle weight (GVW) or permissible maximum weight. :y
-
you can only drive the classes which you have passed test on so if you only passed a car test you can drive a truck not excedding 7500kg MGW all the rest will be provisonail
-
So can i drive lgv/hgv like gd said provisonal(scuse a thick brummy) ;D
-
on your plastic card there is a list with pics of the vehicles, behind each vehicle there is a date as and when youve passed your test, you are allowed to drive these vehicles
for eg on mine I can drive the following
B, C1, C, BE, C1E, CE, M, L, and T/S
CE is artic
C1E is Waggon and Drag
C is Cass 2
C1 is 7,5
B is car
BE car with trailor
M is Moped
L is tractor
T/S motorised wheel chair.
Even on your paper part it should be stated what you are alloud to drive.
as you said you have
B, BE, C1, C1E, D1 and D1E
then you can also drive the above vehicles including ( as listed )
D1 minibus
D1E minibus with trailer

GD.So have i got this right,i don't have CE,which is artic and C which is class 2 on my licence. So i can drive all the others, but not those two,or am i still not getting it.(Dickhead i am) :-[
-
a bit long winded but should clear it all up.

hope this helps :y
-
Cheers kris, but still not sure if i can drive artic or class 2.I will just apply for the jobs and see :)
-
If you dont have CE or C on your licence then you can not drive them, correct :y
you have C1 and C1E what means you may drive 7.5 tonn and 7,5 tonn with trailer.
you are correct in your thinking ( not a dickhead as you say) the licence is a bit difficult to understand sometimes.
you can apply for jobs as multidrop drivers or van drivers or where stated upto 7,5 tonn :y
-
You would know if you had take a test to drive a truck, all those years ago was HGV and you got a separate 'Cardboard Bookstyle' licence.
And the PSV was only a piece of paper.... :)
