As an experience, we know that most of us including Mr Skruntie can fill the meaning of NWS more than expected .. This is an accepted standard in OOF..

for your information.. ;D

There are "speed limits" here KillerWatt..  And many have children..  so its better you slow down before you have the speed ticket ;D

We keep it tame on here because of the kids and bosses peering over shoulders at work.  Plus it cant be too shocking because we dont want TB dropping his laptop in the bath like he nearly did once.   ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ah...the children.

Good point Skruntie, but harder material than that is used during the adverts on Sky (which aren't parental locked).
Likewise, you can see more on page 3 of The Sun.

Possibly more important though - We can make sure our kids aren't looking over our shoulders when using the PC by telling them to go away.

I reckon that's the real reason he didn't do the Bulldog....he'd have had a coronary watching real life at work  ;D ;D ;D

Better safe than sorry! I appreciate someone saying its NWS than saying nothing and getting into trouble/kids seeing! Some of us don't expose our kids to sky adverts or page 3!

Thanks Skruntie! :y

Just as a warning it was agred to label certain threads.  I have posted loads of santilly clad pics on here but I dont post nudity (Prefer to leave it to the imagination) .  Yes I have posted bare breasts (remember the air conditioning add)  we all know what a naked body looks like, plus there are quite a few women on the forum, So labeling a thead also says Not Woman Safe as well as Not Work Safe. Covers all areas basically.

no probs LJ.  When I have posted (and not for quite a while now) I think it only fair to respect the ladies on the forum, plu of course the members that have children.  Same goes for the jokes.  Plus the scary vids ( which really hacks me off when hey aint labbled, as some people may have a dodgy ticker and in fairness need warning)

Please feel free to elucidate on how exactly you dictate what is broadcast on Sky, or indeed how you stop your kids from seeing a newspaper.

I use the forum regularly at work and as I work in a Primary school our system is very closely monitored. I've been pulled up before now over one of TB's comments on blue LED's because the word filter nabbed the word 'GAY'  ::) My boss (the Headteacher) was fine with it but warned me to be more careful as the level of monitoring is increasing in the near future. This is why any threads marked NWS are left unread until I get home.

So they monitor your net access like we were back in the reign of Queen Victoria, yet I'll bet you can still quite happily walk in with any common or garden rag (eg, Sun, Sport, etc) and nobody says jack s**t to you.  ::)

It's more of a word filter, we get the older kids regularly googling for porn aparently. Doesn't bother me being monitored as I only read works email and use OOF at work.

They are 2 and 5 and I DO control what they are exposed to! If you can't say the same about your little ones, shame on you! >:(

Mine aren't so little any more, but even when they were that young we never went to the extremes of making sure they couldn't see a newspaper, advertising hoarding, etc.

I never said they couldn't, just that I control it! Theres no need for them to be exposed to all the crap thats out there, they are adults far longer than they are kids, let them keep their innocence! >:(

Back to my earlier question, just how do you "control" your kids from seeing an advertising hoarding that has (say) Eva Herzigova spread all over it with her tits out?

Similarly, how do you stop your kids looking at the paper stand outside a shop that has (say) The Sport newspaper on full display?

Innocence???

We have 11 year old's getting pregnant because they are having their "innocence" protected.
