Title: free cambelt

Hi folks , I've got a cam belt for a 1996 2l 16v gls if any1 wants to come collect it . I had the waterpump collapse on me . My mate got Me a pump and belt . When the garage did all the repairs they used the pump but not the belt . Still cost 575 . I've changed to a shogun today so the cars being sold, but the cambelt's free if anybody wants it

£575 to change a water pump on a 4 pot?  :D

Even my local dealer is cheaper than that to do a V6 Cambelt and water pump inc parts and labour.

I would have done it for £500 inclusive of parts if it was only a waterpump change Lol [smiley=evil.gif] [smiley=evil.gif] [smiley=evil.gif]

HI all , when the waterpump collapsed the cam belt came off and bang went the pistons . AA took it to the garage. I didn't have to shell all the money out due to a nice little policy I took out when I paid for my AA . The spare belt is here if any1 wants it .
