I used to back up mine when I thought about it, but, after having problems just over a week ago, which took me two days to sort out, fortunately without loss of any data, I've set a schedule to auto backup twice a week.
-
I don't, there's nothing worth backing up :)

Mrs AA does a lot of work on it for her job, plus there are all the e-mails.

but if I'm writing a new code, daily..

When I remember, :-[
On the plus side though, most of "MDocuments" are backed up on several other computers, depending on which one I am working on. Butmain server has not been plugged in since I moved, so nearly 4 months since a major back up.
So thats todays job after the F1 qualifying. :y :y :y Just got to find it now.

I dont, I only do a restore point once a weak.
if it does crash big style then I kill it and do a new install. never had to do it though in the last couple of years :y

every 24 hours, i use time machine with my mac, it automatically does it in the back ground, and it does a full backup first time you use it, then an incremental one every 24 hours after that.
Got a 1 terabyte drive backing up my mac and 2 other external drives.
-
i dont but a timely reminder as i have all family photos on
cheers will start today
-
I back up on line automatically

Having lost H/D in the past with lots of data on them. I now have a server which runs Microsoft home server. This will back up all of my PC's and laptops when connected to the network, usually every few days or so. It is very easy to restore a PC back to it state before failed.
I also use a service called Carbonite as an off site backup of my document file and other important directory's, at the moment it holds 65gigs of data.
Me paranoid.. never :-)
-
I use BT Vault to auto-store my files ;)
-
I don't, should do really.

Mine gets backed up on the portable disc :D
I'm being serious AA.
4TB of storage, configured in RAID 5, Hot swap, all the other crap.....and that is backed up with another 4TB array doing exactly the same.
I can afford to lose 4 hard drives simultaneously (which, let's face it..will NEVER happen), and still not lose 1 bit of data should that scenario occur.
-
My PCs and lappys never contain only copies of data, and the main server backs up to tape every night.
Vital stuff (mainly project based work and programming stuff) is backed up more regular to another server.
OOF, although hardly vital, has a fairly rigourous backup strategy as well.

Whenever Norton decides to do it - is that good or not :-/ :-/
-
Mine hasn't got reverse :D

Norton Ghost ..great data saver program got me out o' the dodo many times .....
Regarding OE, Phil you just need to create a new Storefolder on a different path as by Default it hides away cant locate it easily need to have show hidden files switched on..Example path to my Outlook Express is as simple as it gets I just created a folder on a spare drive.... F:\My Outlook Express... everythings in there mate, so even if your Op system goes ga ga you dont lose all the emails you received/sent etc... :y
