Post by: Banjax on 20 September 2009, 10:47:02
just noticed that prices for manual estates have jumped £1000 since last month! i only notice because i'm looking every other day, what was £1700-£2000 is now going for £3000!! ie 2002 120k CD manual - £2990, now a similar specc'd car with less miles would have been under £2000 a few weeks ago  :-?

Basically, if you'll pay it - they'll ask it ...... !
Remember, it's now a 'buyer's market' so time for some serious negotiations I reckon.

I think you'll find at this moment in time it's a sellers market thanks to the scrappage scheme.

It's simple logistics TD.
Reduce the quantity of any given commodity and it goes up in price.

Not me.....2.5TD's are too old....to get licensed where i live ....in fact the 2.2TD...would be too old as well now....can now get 7/8 years licence, but has to be less than 5 years old on first application  :(
