Title: Planned outage - 28/02/07

This is the first stage of a maintenence plan to move forum to new VM.  This is to fit a new disk, kindly donated by ClarCE, to host the VM on.  The current disk has been sounding like a bag of nails for a while now ::)

We expect the outage to last for around 45mins between 6pm and 8pm

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this preventative maintenence.


Phase 2 - building the VMs - will continue over the next few days.

Phase 3 - migrating the forum to new main VM - will involve a further outage in a week or so, more details nearer the time.

So no complaining when it finally comes back on tomorrow morning!  ;D

Thanks for feedback - its difficult for me to judge how fast it is most of the time due to my faster connection for the server.

For what I can see, the new VM has been sat pretty idle all day today.  Lets see how it fairs tonight as the users get online...
