Title: Mobiles - Withholding Numbers
Post by: Mr Skrunts on 27 September 2009, 09:25:47
I have phones on Orange and O2 networks, Allthough I know I can set the phones to withold all numbers when dialing I dont wish this option to be on permantly.

Is there a way I can do the same as the BT 141 service on either of these networks.  All phones are Nokia;s.

TIA.   :y

141 is hit & miss on a mobile better to use #31# infront of the number on a mobile

What other usefull numbers are there.  From years ago I seem to remember there were numbers that could be typed in to find out info on the phones.  But I imagine there are numbers to gain benfits from the cards and phones.

I have 2 nokia 2610 on O2

Plus I have annother Nokia on Orange but cant remember the model number.

TIA.  :y

I don't believe in witholding numbers & unless you work for Mi5 or similar you're not important enough to warrant doing so.
I don't answer witheld calls, why hide? ::)

All depends on your handsets.

On my C902 (Sony Ericsson), I can withold numbers to certain people in the phonebook, refuse to accept calls from certain numbers, and likewise block texts from certain numbers.

141 seems to be working ok, so I can save thier name and edit the 141 in front.
