Title: Can I borrow Sammy Sledge
Post by: Elite Pete on 06 March 2007, 15:01:58
Hammer

The wife has just phoned from the petrol station. She has put £20 of petrol in the diesel, one good thing is at least she hasn't started it.

Women ::)

Im the absence of Sammy Sledge Hammer, Lenny Lump Hammer was used and I must say he has done the job very well, much less spatter so im now looking for Sid the Spade to dig a shallow grave ;)

Only joking ::)

Job done got most of the petrol out, just need a filter tomorrow and fill up with diesel and thats that.

There might be a litre or two in there but apart from removing the tank I think it would be difficult to get it all out. I will go and fill it with Diesel tomorrow to dilute the petrol as much as possible.

Make sure you fill it too the brim.....hopefully then it will be ok....i guess its at your place at the mo (after towing it there).....it would be wise to tow it back to the garage to fill it up....and not just chuck 5 litres in and drive it to the garage.
