A cross-sectional survey of 1000 people in the UK, made up of Afghans, Pakistanis, Indians, Poles, Iraqis, Somalis, Africans, Albanians, Bosnians, Turks, Geordies, Brummies, Glaswegians and Liverpudlians were asked if they thought Britain should change its currency to the Euro.
99% said no, they were quite happy with the Giro.
Note, if the above causes offence then PM me and itwill eb removed (note, it is very tongue in cheek!)

Very good. :) :)
A euro will soon only be worth a pound so no doubt that will be when it is "adopted". At least people won't then be ripped off changing money back and forth to just visit another part of the EU!

It's quite sad when people are so shit scared of cracking a joke that they feel the need to follow it up with an apology.
As far as the actual question (topic title) goes, it doesn't matter what we think.
Simple truth is, until we (majority of the UK) grow some balls...then we will take whatever is thrust upon us.
A euro will soon only be worth a pound
What do you mean, soon?

...it might well be a foregone conclusion V;
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/the-demise-of-the-dollar-1798175.html
'The Chinese believe, for example, that the Americans persuaded Britain to stay out of the euro in order to prevent an earlier move away from the dollar. But Chinese banking sources say their discussions have gone too far to be blocked now. "The Russians will eventually bring in the rouble to the basket of currencies," a prominent Hong Kong broker told The Independent. "The Brits are stuck in the middle and will come into the euro. They have no choice because they won't be able to use the US dollar." '

I remember the last time we changed our currency, we went from 240 pennies in the pound to 100 pennies in the pound, halved the value of my pocket money overnight, and why, just to make sums easier..... >:(
