Title: Nobel prize...for what?

I see that Obama has been awarded the Nobel prize for Peace.

I can't think of anything much he has achieved in the 10 months he's been in office - certainly nothing that warrants a peace prize, at any rate.

Interestingly, though, nominations for the prize closed in February, just two weeks after he was inaugurated!

Complete farce, really. Everyone knows I should have got it, 'cos I've achieved even less this year!  ;) ;D ;D

What a crazy world we live in ..............when George  W. Bush is not given the Nobel Peace Prize....when I think of all the courageous things this great man did....It beggars belief that he was overlooked. ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ;) ;) ;)..

Indeed,i also  do believe he  had a major share holding in a rather large 'Armaments' factory where he made cannons !! Presumably the plan was to use these for recreational purposes only ?

I guess that bliar,once he is president of europe, will also be in the frame for this coveted prize ?

Really pathetic. I read somewhere that he has already got a gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics because he had a vision that he could run 100m in 8.5 seconds.
