Title: Well Done Gordon............
Post by: Lioned on 08 October 2009, 23:19:58
Our best and most prudent chancellor and pm ever.............

How has this bloke got away with the gold reserves scandal?

He sold nearly 400 tonnes of OUR gold at $275 an ounce.

It closed today at $1048 an ounce which means this twit has cost this country £5 BILLION!!!!

I am staggered that this does not get enough of an airing

I also note he told Shaun the other morning he would be prepared to sell off 'OUR' assets to get us out of trouble !!

And the way Camerons behaving he'll have another 5 years to finish flushing this country down the toilet.

Sounds like the housing market, how many of us have kicked ourselves for selling a property for 16k and now worth 80k, as an example.... ::) ::) ::)

Think of the money you could now get for your wedding ring.... :D :D :D

anyway - bad decision - rather like Thatch giving away the family jewels in a desperate attempt to bribe the rich with tax cuts?  ::) ::) (bannjaxx posts passim)

 ;D ;D ;D you've been reading too much Eye bj ::) ::) ::)

...however uncomfortable it is to deal with MT was decades ago,
GB is the here and now - and the last 12 years of course - so it's a fair comment.

That unfortunate series of decisions and general incompetence will result in our paying dearly for GB's total self belief - despite the entreaties of others - and bare-faced manipulation, for the foreseeable future ;) ;)

I think the point is that this man was chancellor for nearly ten years and pm for two and we are coming up to an election which Cameron doesnt look genuinely capable of winning in his own right (i think it true to say that its usually a case of the incumbent government loosing ) so Cameron rather than telling us all to work longer and shooting himself in the foot should either keep his gob shut or start reminding us all,via the now tory friendly current bun,of the calamities that brown was responsible for.
Can anyone here imagine anything worse than another 5 years of newlabour ?

Seems like one Robert Fisk of the Independent has a bit to answer for with regard to the latest hike in the price of gold. This is a gem!

Breaking news on the BBC is Gordo will be asked to pay back some of his expenses!

Now, I'm not an accountant, but none of my expenses claims have EVER been queried or called back, and this clown is in charge!
