Title: the prezzy enigma....
Post by: feeutfo on 10 October 2009, 11:14:07
....seems to be getting more complex each year amongst our female friends it seems to me.

What exactly is acceptable for a xmas present for the laidys?

For some reason any kitchen related product is frowned upon it would seem, EVEN THOUGH interest may well have been expressed in exactly that, be it indirectly or otherwise.

Seems to me a vast differance in what one wants and or needs between men and women. If i need something, usually for our cars  garage or garden, i'm told i cant have it now, i can have it for xmas....!

Ok fine, doesnt work the other way though does it!

Mrs. KW tells me that if I ever buy her a foot spa she'll leave. So that's my exit strategy ready. [smiley=evil.gif]

Got away with a hostess tray last year. :D

What's it to be this year? ::)

Spanner set ready for no 4? Like it, thats planning mate. Good work. ;D

I mean, what use is a diamod ring or a pearl neckless(leave it) or a bottle of "pah fam"by some french bloke? Complete waste of money. It doesnt do anything, no use what so ever.....:-)

Rather than try & guess (you know you'll only get it wrong anyway), why not just ask her what she wants?

Failing that, letting them have the plastic for a day always works.

Yep. Simple. She's hardly going to ask for a bentley is she? If the wife wants it and we can afford it, job done.

The worst part for me is HAVING to have something myself. Every year, I agonise for days and then just get upset and say 'I dont need anything!!!' ;D

Lithium-Ion for high current drain devices is a much better bet.

naaaah  your getting it all wrong
men say what they mean   you need to get your woman to do the same thing

when you ask her what would you like dear and she replies nothing   get her nothing    ok you will be on the sofa for a day or two    but in future she will comunicate exactly what she would like  and not the usual  im saying someything but not what i actually mean  but you have to guess rubbish they usually pull on us poor men  :y

I can think of at least 2 reasons for her to be pissed off if you do that.

1. It's grossly overpriced, you can buy exactly the same from your local market for less than half what AS charge.

2. The first thought in her head will be "he obviously thinks i'm a cheap whore if he wants me to wear this crap for his benefit"

If you are going to buy her underwear, make sure you know what her sizes are (could be detrimental to you emptying your balls if you get that wrong), and prepare yourself for the fact that a decent bra on it's own is going to set you back £40 minimum.
