Title: Alterntives to the post office for parcel delivey
Post by: Vamps on 13 October 2009, 22:12:09
Every now and then I do a bit of selling on ebay, and that time is looming. I have always used the Post Office, never had a problem with delivery either home or abroad.  :y However with a strike coming up, has anyone any suggestions for an altenative delivery service that is just as easy to use?

i wouldn't use Fedex - saw this documentary once, the fedex guy opened up all the parcels, threw all the stuff he didn't fancy away, wore the clothes...he even took a football out and drew a face on it and talked to it!! :o

even the name gives you a clue, it was called "Cast Away"

Your options.

Would have thought it was an option for the buyer.

Add into the sale regards the postal strike.

Then give them a list of prices and options.

I would make a point of adding postal insurance to any sale done via the royal mail though just to cover the sale.

I use parcel2go.com too. Always been brilliant. You can decide which company you use through them and get the best deal, and most of the time the parcel company will come to your house.

Plus if you advertise them on your Ebay listing you get a discount off postage.

There may be some truth in this Albs, and we can add 'stalking' to the problem, he has even tried to cut in on a deal, saying that Omega's are old mans cars, and he said this on an Omega forum........ :o :o :o
Maybe I do need to revisit that thread and alert the admins, I mean, how many old men drive Omega's......  ::) ::) ::)  And he tried to suggest his 'Skip' was a better deal..... :P :P
