C4's Great Global Warming Swindle tonight?

It should have been compulsory viewing for everyone. Completely debunked the anthropogenic global warming myth (although the lefties are already trying to discredit the programme). I've never bought the CO2 argument, but have been increasingly wary of mentioning it because it's becoming distinctly uncool to be a "denialist", yep, that's the terminology the pro-AGW mob use. It's great to see that C4 have had the guts to air this programme.  :y The Beeb would never do it.

Awesome programme!! I was wondering how long it would take the lentilists to react!!

I do think however we should still take care of the environment. It shouldn't be squandered and remember, there is a finite supply of fossil fuels!!

Couldn't agree more. Of course we have to look after the environment and preserve our fuel reserves, but as you say the lentilists have an altogether different agenda. They are anti-capitalists who would delight in having the western world come to a grinding economic halt - and they couldn't care less about the developing world, despite what they say. Aletrnative fuels and more efficient technologies will come form the private sector and for that they need to flourish so they can pay for the R&D. Taxing everyone to the hilt will merely slow this process. Bottom line is we can't halt climate change even if we wanted to.  We'll need to adapt to whatever Mother Nature throws at us.

made me laugh when the co-founder of greenpeace said his leaving of greenpeace was down to them taking up to much of a political stance!
