aaaaaah its the one off trader at £6k
Lookin at petrol 2.5 elites, they can be over £2000 cheaper for similar age and mileage
would a diesel engine really be enough to warrant spending that much more instead of gettin a 2.5 and puttin an LPG tank in it?

reading again i dont think it has leather...ewwwww

I personally don't see the huge benefit in leather, its cold in the winter, burns your legs in the summer. Last summer a friend had leather and had to put cloth on the seat to stop the bottom of his legs burning on the hot leather..
I had no problems, my seat was just warm 8-)

Leather was top of my list until I did 2 back to back test drives. A facelift Elite with leather and a facelift MV6 with cloth seats. I bought the MV6.
Probably more to do with the seat design than the covering but I felt "perched on" the leathers and they didn't seem to offer much lateral support. I felt very nicely wedged into MV6 cloth seats in comparison.
It may have a lot to do with personal preference and driving style but out of those two cars I preferred the cloth seats. I'm not sure if the MV6 cloth seats are anything special or the same as the other models..

The MV6 seats are unique to the MV6.
The Elite seats, esp leather, seem to have no shape. The Elite cloth seats are quite nice, though no so much support as MV6 ones, better support than leather.

I just like the Elite leather 'cos I'm a poser :P

PS... mine's coming up very nicely now with that leather balm etc.. look like a different set of seats now compared to what we pulled out of Tunnie's Senny!

And nothing to do with the malt then? ;D
Anyways, what did Markie think to driving the Omega (apart from having a drunk as a passenger)?

He loves it...
He thinks they are a really stable, comfortable and nice handling car. He's getting very familiar with them, after helping me change the heads on my Elite... He was driving that Elite around for a bit, until he blew the coolant transfer pipe ouf of it doing 90mph up a very steep hill >:(

Haha the steering wheel - as the 2.2DT I'd say £3500 no more as it is 6 months newer than mine, but has a DIY gear box and a little engine.
