We have a boxer and were advised to get the right food to stop the greed, vet told us to stick to dry food and make sure the first ingredient in the list is a meat based product. He's 1 now and since a pup has had Dobson & Horrell food in the big sacks through puppy junior and now working crunch. 1st ingredient is chicken meat meal. Also told that from very young keep the bowl filled and let him eat, he did pig out at first but soon stopped gourging and just eats when he's hungry now and he's a very solid dog now. HTH :y
P.S. Try your local farm supplies shop for the food, we currently pay £11 for 15kg and it's VAT free ;) :y

Cheers Morgan. She is a little cracker got her eating under controll now probably because she now knows theres no competition from litter mates. Just trying to get the cats used to her now she just wants to play with them but tthey dont know thet when she runs at them. I think its just a case of being patiant.

Hope you enjoy.
Took her to the vets on Saturday for her first vaccinactions & worming. Also a health check vet said shes a good weight & in good health except for a small umbilical hernia but nothing to worry about should heal its self as she gets older.

Never give a dog milk!! Once it's weened off it's mother it becomes lactose intolerant! Also check the Bakers ingerdients list, first in the list should ALWAYS be meat or meat meal :y

She's a good looking pup. Watch out for that tail when she gets older, i had a Rottie with a full tail. They're very long, thick & strong & come keen when they thrash you with it ;D
Mine's snoring like a pig at the moment ;D ;D ;D

;D ;D Luckily he's a year old now and still doesn't know what 'that' is for yet ;D He never sleeps without his puppy, searches the whole house until he's found it ::)

Hi welung666. Weaning her off bakers now vet said bakers has to much salt content & to many aditives. Probably accounts for why she kept going hyper. Changing over to pets at home puppy compleat. Seems to be calming her down a bit now. Higher meat content.

Some new photos of Sheba now aged 8 months. And doing realy well.

Great photos C 8-) 8-)
Those eyes have done for me, I'd be putty in her paws ;D ;D :y
-
Your right about the eyes. And she knows how to use them to her adventage. Especially when she wants something or knows when shes done wrong.

For Gawds sake get her wormed ASAP just to be on the safe side. She will have inherited the worms from her mum & if she hasn't been done since her poor mum died she could be infested, one symptom of which is a ravenous appetite! Obviously I hope she isn't and it's just a case of 'getting her feet under the table' LOL ;D :y
-
beautiful looking pup, shame they grow, just like kids ;)
-
Hi philrich. Shes fully vaccinated wormed & flead. Appetite now back to normal.
