Title: Now a Euro income tax?

Definitely moving towards UKIP at the election. Better a Little Englander, as Bannjaax would say, than an even smaller European.

This is democracy in reverse. Move the decision- making away from the people and hand it to a bureaucracy.

"include levies on phone calls, flights, financial transactions or carbon emissions."

Someone on this forum mentioned we would here this word a lot more, and guess what here it is agian.

What they mean is tax do they really think we are that stupid to believe that if they rename it we will not think of it as a tax.

Nothing new here. We Brits have always been taxed indirectly or directly without much say in the process. We are part of the EU unless someone tells me otherwise so we can expect some form of creativity in "levying" monies to fund the EU. These are only proposals.
You already pay a levy as part of your Council Tax but no one will tell us how much.

Sorry. I get you two confused sometimes. Can't imagine why. ::) ::)

There's nothing wrong with using ANY newspaper as a reference. It is either true or not, irrespective of the organ in which it appears. In this case, I think it is true.

Splendid. Please send donations donations large or small (Euros or those worthless £ things) payable to Varche Ents and I will see it is spent on worthwhile causes.

Thanks in anticipation

I have no problem at all being taxed by the EU.

.. as long as they can show me a set of audited accounts.  [smiley=evil.gif]
