I'm sure Gordon will ensure that we pay the lion's share into this mammoth scam. This is truly stunning.
This link is to a blogger, which means the language is a bit strong. If you want to read the news, find a link yourself, 'cos I'm too peeved to bother.

That sort of money will be easy to come by.
A few weeks ago a group of mega wealthy Germans started a serious suggestion that they be taxed 5% extra for just two years. That would raise 90 billion euros specifically to help get Germany back on its feet. At the last count they had 44 people signed up for it.
Maybe their oppos in Britain could do the same!

Ed Milliband on radio 5 just a few minutes ago stated the figure would be between £22 and £50 billion worldwide although in all honesty, like most government figures its likely to be way out by a considerable margin :y

So let's get this straight. The government wants to shell out a "paltry" 1 billion quid (of our money) and give it away for no tangible benefit. Never mind that the UK is financially insolvent, or that pensioners may well die of cold this winter as they can't afford their utility bills.
I tell you what. Give Gordon a ring and tell him to stick on another couple of hundred million... as a goodwill gesture.

£13 from everyone is one thousand million pounds, £65 from my family alone
