Title: Saturday night
Post by: Martin_1962 on 31 October 2009, 21:58:28
Before tea watched the F1 qualifying - didn't a certain person fly :y :y :y :y

After tea Merlin, then OOFed for ages, then ABSed, saw just one dance on Strictly - skin tight cat suit ;D ;D ;D ;D.

Been painting my Airfix Nimrod. While under the influence of Henneys cider, but I have not messed it up.

Sue is now watching a bunch of no hopers butchering rock songs, I luckily have some of the songs so have been able to purify my ears. Steve Perry would be shocked.

I think we need to get out more.

I've been logged on to my brother's servers, migrating his mail and sql servers to new hardware...

Just been given a slightly delayed birthday pres from my son. Its an Airfix kit for.............. a BAC TSR-2.

Now I haven't built these things for years, where do I start. What kind of glue to use ?.

Already there.

Few pints at dinnertime today, back home to finish off the half bottle of voddy, bath, clothing change, back out to the Bengal Lancer in the Shot to celebrate a mates birthday, back to the Traf by 22:30, and finally kicked out just after 1am.

Managed to fit in a few other things in between, but that's not for publication on an open forum.

Revell do a nice glue in a blue contatiner with metal needle thingie.

Humbrol spray can for the TSR2 I think.

Does look nice but the undercarriage is fiddly and weak, I ended up drilling holes and pushing brass wire in.

Unfortunately been in bedroom window and now mouldy :( :(

Left for work at 0650 sat. morning, finished work at 730pm,drove to London in works van, loaded the contents of daughters flat into the van, drove home, arrived home at 11pm.
Tonight when I finish worh at 7.30pm - drive 20 miles and unload the contents of the van into a friends garage, should be home about 9.30pm
Next month ,do the whole thing in reverse.Kids, what would we do without them. ::) ::)
