I thought welcoming members didn't go towards your post count for that reason... :-/

Misunderstanding by DaveElite - he wants to put up a wanted add - and i am currently trying to tidy the section back up rather than simply delete the chaps postcount by a couple of hundred...... :o

Hmmm -- maybe an un-post count restricted "Wanted" section could be considered.
I can see the (small) problem with newbies posting in the Welcome section and it not being counted -- but it is, for them, only 1 or 2 "lost posts". Maybe that section should not add to post counts.
If new members want the count (for whatever reason) the easiest way is to have a chat in General Chat -- get your numbers uop while interacting with the community.

Or if they spend a little time reading the forum, a quick note to Admin, and a cheeky post in the test section, then it's up to Admin discretion. I personally dont think they would turn down a wanted add.
