Galant has just past it's tests but think it needs new pads, not driven it yet, so swmbo is in the Mig, which she says is too slow....... ::) ::)
So was having a think;

She did say the Mig was comfy, can we put the Galant engine in the Mig, our Mig is a 2.0L auto estate....... :D :D :D

aaah - i had one of those - 24v V6 2.5 - great engine, pity the autobox was made of chocolate and bits of string :(
one of (if not thee) the best looking saloons ever made, that front end scared the willies out of most rep-mobiles 8-)
what about selling them both and getting a nice tasty vr-4? :y

That was just the brake pads to put the Galant back on the road ::) ::) She drives the Galant fast enough without the need for the VR4 :D :D
The Galant we have is V6 Auto and was mine before hers, and has been a great car, done megga miles and engine and gearbox never miss a beat. Body getting a bit untidy, where do you stop spending and replace?

that decision was taken out of my hands and it was scrapped (£2500 for new autobox :()
be careful - its a very common problem (i heard tales from mitsu dealers saying some have gone at 30k :o), pity, as they're great cars :o

Is the Galant one of those shark nosed jobbies? They look savage from the front, really mean. Sadly fwd ::)

That would be the one... :y may be fwd but go like stink and would beat any Mig and very light to drive :) they don't have that comfy and solid feeling of the Mig though which is what makes the Mig such a nice car imo....... :y
