I posted about this in general chat the other day - "a bit steep" - thats an understatement, that guy's having a laugh.

I have asked a question saying that its about £1300 to much and that Vx do them for £1450+vat....for a new one!

What do you actually get for your money from Vauxhall? Presumably no ancillaries.

Be interesting to see if he bothers responding - probably doesn't like speaking or selling to people that actually know what they're buying..

What do you actually get for your money from Vauxhall? Presumably no ancillaries.

No anclillaries (ie.. power steering pump, alternator, manifolds etc) but, it does have new oil cooler, cambelt, tensioners, oil, filer.....

Thats a surprisingly good price from vx  :o

It is compared to the price they charge for a fuel pump for a GM 1.7 low blow turbo diesel - £1000!
