I've been noticing over the past weeks that in General Chat (not sure about the other sections) on the home screen that some threads have a different member as the last reply to what's shown on the actual thread.
On Alexh551's thread regarding the COD it says on the home screen that Webby23 is the last to reply, but it's actually Killerwatt :-? :-?
Anyone else have this?

I had that for a minute as well, although clearing the cache at my end fixed it so I just put it down to an IE/Windows quirk.

happens now and again....fixing...

Sometimes the indexes don't update fully. It normally sorts itself out after a couple of posts - once in a blue moon we have to do a full reindex, which normally knocks the forum off for an hour :'(

not sure its a problem..on a multiple user environment where even miliseconds are a big time slice a page can be updated, read, and update again..
there may be very complicated scenarios that may seem wrong but its not.. only examining an update log can show you what happened exactly..
or its reallty a problem ;D

for those kind of occasions there is a solution but with a very high cost..you lock the transaction (also true for the index pages) that no one can reach until it completes..but on a web site that is surely not a good aproach unless that transaction is about money..
