A new macro lens. 8-)
So, I'm prowling round the house looking for things to photograph, and what did I find in my salad?

Reminds me of an evening many years ago in the Agincourt in Camberley. Endurance competition. Final round - a maggot sandwich. I was spectating, needless to say, although the beer was not much better. Saw the guy later at the kebab van and he wasn't half piling on the chilli sauce.

Mine is the Pentax D FA 100mm F2.8. Was also looking at the Tamron 90mm F2.8 and the Sigma 105mm f2.8, but spotted the Pentax one well below retail price - or it would have been out of the running completely! :o
The 3 seem to be pretty evenly matched in the reviews I have seen, TBH.
Can't remember what body you have but IIRC not a Pentax?

Cheers, yes im Canon, been considering Tamron, Sigma or Canon, currently erriing towards the canon as its internal focusing, so less scary to bugs...

Mr Woods personal favourite, Hellmans and Lavi. ;D
A camera lens aye? Fascinating things cameras. Cant get into photography though for some reason. Would rather take one to bits than take a picture if you see what i mean.

I do know what you mean. Unfortunately I have a poor track record on getting cameras back together again, although taking them to bits is fun. :D

Yeah, re build is always the problem i find. Luckily for my step Dad, in my younger days, i learned my limitations before i found his camera. Was soooo tempted. He probably wouldnt have noticed anyway though, not a clue how to use it.

Judging by the colour that looks like a rare 'sweet & sour' caterpillar of the genus Tescoii extraproteinii freeofchargeei ;)
