I didn't notice, but many did. Seems from this thread that our boys don't think much of GB. Check the comments! ;) ;D

Protocol is still very much present in the military even if in society it is not

Even worse,Bliar had the audacity to turn up,he was stood just behind Brown.Harriet Harperson looked like she had mistaken the remembrance day service for Paris fashion week with her silly hat.I have little doubt that she thought it would get her more TV time than the others in the back row. >:(

I was watching and noticed that he didn't when he was at the Cenotaph but did when Cameron was returning to his side after he had placed his wreath.
It looked as if he had forgotton to do it and realised after the moment.
Unforgivable.
-
Bah!
-
he is so far up his own ar5e i think he was waiting for the cenotaph to bow to him. >:( >:(

Just watched the ceremony on iPlayer and it was very moving. I think it's a very important part of our year and great to see so many leaders paying tribute.
Maybe Gordon should be given an ASBO to stay away from Whitehall?

Banjax, the fabric of our Country is held together by the miriad threads of Society, and it can withstand a lot of 'fraying at the seams' but after years of ineptitude, plain bad management, and the general 'selling down the river' of GB Ltd you then see one of the supposed keystones of our Social & Political structure ignore, or even worse, forget to observe the most basic act of public humility at what is arguably the most important day in the Nations calendar, you have to wonder if the fabric is so badly damaged that it can't be repaired :(

I'm certainly no fan of this disastrous and very dangerous politician, however on this occasion a mistake such as this is very easy to make.
He would have had a lot running through his mind at the time and a momentary lapse in concentration probably led to the gaffe.
If the mistake was recognised and apologised for then there's no great problem to consider in my view.

I don't think he meant it obviously & he has his uses in politics but he's no frontman as is becoming apparent.

........it must be difficult to be faced with two sets of arse-holes - in terms of the Scottish constituencies - to choose between at the general election D, but to consider voting for the present incumbents is surprising.
Haven't they had enough time to destroy the country without giving them more?

Choose...
one wants to ferk the country up and the other wants to split the country up
I live in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and want to continue to do so.
i have stated already i will move South If Scotland become independant.

I always vote Labour because they always get in round here, don't actually like them or the tories but can't vote Liberal because they never get in round here.!!!!

If everyone who thought like that actually voted for them they might get it.
You don't have to vote for a particular party.
Personally anyone but Labour
