Title: 4500miles later.....
Post by: omegaV6CD on 14 August 2006, 19:23:08
Hello guys,
i was just back today morning from my driving holiday from UK to Greece and i'm really excited to see what has been going on here the last 3 weeks that i was away. I hope you and you cars are all well.
I'm very pleased that my car has been for second time absolutely faultless in the same trip. Downside of my trip was the death of my granny (96) and the speeding fine 90euro in france yesterday.
So what's new on here?
Gongratulation for your new purchase Laidback66 it looks super!!!!

Welcome back Kostas, I wondered where you had gone?  :)

What has been happening? Well you have a few thousand posts to read!  ;D

Thank you on the car, it is very nice, and I look forward to driving it again (dead DIS pack, changing tomorrow night).

Ooops on the speeding fine, but at least it was France and not Switzerland where the speeding fines are scary!  :o

Comiserations about your grandmother.  :(

Thanks guys,
i'm quiet pleased to be back to the UK and i can now appreciate the 16 degrees of ambient temperature since i have been cooked in the tropic  climate. I'm glad i didn't fly as i heard that there was serius problems in most european airports.
I have now to sort out my exhaust manifold blow which i suspect that it might be the manifold to downpipe gasket which i bought for the rediculusly expensive 6£. Also i need to give it a good clean as it is absolutely filthy. I'm also planning to fit an amplifier after my brother insulted my car's sound system.

Thanks Finlay,
it is more of a reliev than a loss as she has been suffering 1year being stuck on her bed having illusinations, depression,  etc. So overall i'm happy that she rests in peace now. It is a natural end for a person that has lived 95 years.
