Ok, this may be a silly question, but how the hell do they build them there in the first place. I watched a crane being built behind my house last week and to do it they needed a mobile crane that was taller than the fixed one.

Its one of those questions thats always got me wondering but I never remember to find out an answer!

Forget it! It's already hot enough on the ground. The sun would melt your brains up there.

But there was an article done on the crane operator once, whom had the highest job in the world.

Christ!!..........I got dizzy just looking at that!!!!! :o
There's no amount of money in the world that would get me up there...........well, maybe a couple of million might tempt me. ::)

What building is it and where?

There's a film on Youtube somewhere of some "urban exploration". Couple of guys managed to climb such a crane at night and were hanging off the end of the boom and doing all sorts of stunts with no visible safety gear (I guess a parachute would be your best bet!). Made me feel quite ill just watching it and I'm not normally someone who has problems with height.  :o

Think it might have been these idiots. In fact, looking at it again, he has a backpack on. Perhaps a 'chute?

Wouldn't catch me up there, that's for sure. :o

 Re: Job Vacancy.

I've no fear of heights and hate the winter here.

I'd do it - where do I sign up?
