I know where it is, the top road going to Shuttleworth. I get my car MOT'd at Garric .... in the dip just further up from Marshalls, towards the motorway. I have good friends who live in Nangreaves, which, if you have a proper 4x4, is left at the lights up the hill.
You must be at the top of the ladder if you're driving all that way each day for work!!! ::) ::) ::) ::)
-
No Andy I'm not a high flyer I just drive a fork truck thats all. I used to work for the Marshalls near to me in Wrexham untill they closed it down early this year.
gotta go where the work is dont you?

And how long does that take you each day?
Yes, you do have to go to where the work is, that's why I'm at Heinz 20odd miles away, I feel like it's only a local journey now you've told me how far you travel.
-
Its a 62 mile each way trip and when I'm coming home off a night shift its a real problem keeping awake on the M56....

You must be putting about 5 gallon of fuel in your car each day. £25 a day just to get to work! :o :o

it costs me around £15 per day Andy..... Think I need a cheap diesel just to get there and back... Keeping the Omega naturally...

Coming back down the hill towards jct 21/20 when you have HGV's inches from your back end cos they're free wheeling ...... :-? :-? :-? Not a nice place to be! ;) :y

That'll be 'Death Valley' on the M60 (formerly M62) between Jct 17 Whitefield & jct 15 where the M61 joins. If you listen to Sally traffic on Radio 2 there's an accident or 2 most weeks somewhere round there. It's usually 4 lanes of stationary traffic at 'rush hour' :-? :y
