Well I am currently counting my blessings.

Next door left the gas on last night and then buggered off. Come 5am the other neighbour smelt gas as he is next to my neighbours kitchen. Cue us all being bundled out of our flats shortly after while they opened all the windows and shut off the gas. According to the gas man one click in his flat and about half the building would have gone!

The blessing was I got to see the girl opposite in her night "dress" as she opened her door to the hammering from the Police.... Flippin eck  :y I'll be enjoying a pint tonight I can tell you.

Same here, at the mid session interval I'm making a chilli. Fetch the missus from work (poor thing) then eat chilli.  I've noticed I've got some Fursty Ferret left for later......yumm

You can keep your John Smiths, I prefer proper beer  ;) ;D

Sadly, doing a few jobs around the house, cooking dinner and servicing the boiler.

Just had my weekly soak in bath :), and now about to embark on the preparation of the evening meal.  Fish soup! :) :) :)

Love it.  The lad's just back from Bristol (missed the train, had to fork out £53 extra to get next train - could have driven there and back for less >:() and he loves my fish soup too.  Can't usually indulge when he's not here, as (very strictly vegetarian) Mrs. J doesn't appreciate the smell of fish.

Finally finished by jobs for today. Currently supping a Stella, awaiting the nice curry man to turn up, and waiting for Mrs TB to come in the room and pass me the remote, so I can see what dross is on the telly

Ah yes Woodfords Wherry-indeed a lovely pint. Being a Midlander I miss Banks's bitter and Flowers , but must say that there are plenty of good ales in this neck of the woods what with woodfords, adnams etc.Anyway, you lot should count yourselves lucky, Ive almost forgoten what its like not to have to work on a Sunday :'(

Only ever had bottled Black Sheep, nice  tho'. Anyhow, you'll know what its like working weekends. Strangely I dont miss having the Saturdays off so much (too far away from the Hawthorns now ;D), but Sundays are different arent they, more relaxing. Cant be helped in the trade Im in but would be nice to have more time with the family and see little un more
