Title: Garage Illumination Project Complete
Post by: tunnie on 14 December 2009, 17:06:45
For those that know my garage, they know how cr@p the lighting is. So with winter set in, i set about improving it.

First up was a clear out, then about 3 coats of white brick paint. Lastly some lights, pictures taken just a few mins ago:

I have to a special delivery letter to Liverpool tomorrow, because I need to send £30 to my son. I've already sent it once by standard delivery. Guess what? It never got there.

I cant wait till the post office is bankrupted by electronic mail and bank transfers. When all the thieving bastards are out of work it might make them realise they'd have been better off providing a decent service.

Dont make remarks about my son, in jest or otherwise. He was brought up knowing that every penny had to be counted, not getting everything given to him on a plate.

Nice job there Tunnie, thought you might have gone the whole whack though and painted the floor with some seal-o-create or what ever it is called.  i I have used the red, green and grey in the past, they all add the finishing touch, plus aid in the wiping up of spillages.   :y :y

PMSL

My old man used to run a 3 bay and 2 bay garage maintaining 100 vechicles includinding 17.5 tonners and HGV tractor cabs and the floor only got a repaint every 5 years or so to smarten it up.

If you did chip it the concrete would probably suffer as well.

It does get stupidly dusty in there, very tempted to do it.

working, but due back around 7:30-8:00. Did text you but guess that will take a few days to arrive.  ::)

I could leave the keys to the garage hidden somewhere, if you need to get in earlier? Might need to move my bike and the LPG stuff on the left hand side, mother tunnies other ride is on the other side but the LPG stuff should fit in front of that.

EDIT, or drop the keys off in the morning (6:30)

Looking good. Mine could do with an interior paint but moving everything out would be a nightmare. It would take several able bodied folk to clear, paint & re install.
Could be a good excuse for another house invasion but this time you work for your curry!!! :D
