Title: Exhaust Prices Comparison

.........for my 2.6.....needing two centre sections and one back box.
ATS...........£305
Kwik Fit.....£280
VX main dealer......£280 (with genuine VX parts) or £115 plus 3 hours labour at £60 ph....total £295 with non VX parts)......Three hours to fit an exhaust!!!!!!!
Selecta.....£185
Eternal car ......approx £120...but not fitted. :'( :'( :y

.....all things considered .......£185 fully fitted ....does not seem to bad .....

depends on the quality of the selecta I guess.

fitting an exhaust is not hard, worst bit may be having to drill out old bolts

replace with stainless, job done  :y

You'd probably fit underneath an Omega .....easier than me Tunnie.... ;D ;D ;D......

fit each centre section first, soak the bolts to the cache in WD40 every day for about a week before hand. Bolts on mine came straight off....

Fit each centre section, then do the back box last. Helps if you have a second pair of hands it helps

Every exhaust does. Poor ones last less than 2 years (they hope you lose receipt), good ones 5 or 6 years.

I have the same dilema myself

What's his face up the road is likey to send me underneath his MV6 to fit an exhaust  ;D

I got some ramps that work well, reverse on, and its just about do-able.
