Martin - get a grip of yourself, for goodness sake.... Lift your nose from good old Engerland and its clockwork railways and look at the wider, more worldwide picture. You do not have to like it to at least understand it! ;D

These American terms eventually make it over to the UK. It's only when you've lived in the US can you fully understand the various terminology they use in the movies.
FOr example what the hell was a 'raincheck', which is what I got asked when I went into Wallmart. A few years later people are using it in the UK.

To be honest it is fun to confuse the yanks with British words.
And the Ho term - well why don't they use Whore?
