I know very little about football - all I know is that my boss supports a team which was walking distance from where he grew up, one of our customers has a luxury box at a manchester team and my boss was given a go (I think he likes Arsenal) anyway he sat there in isolation with a friend who likes teams over 100 miles from him (very odd) and his team won!

He said it was eerie watching in a box with hate stares from the other teams fans when he cheered when Arsenal got some points.

Why don't they mix the crowds up so they can chat about it?

Talikng about sports now - did anyone see Lewis Hamiltons first race?

I always have a cunning plan when liverpool play the big teams......I back the opposition.
We lose, I get dosh...we win/draw, I'm happy anyway :y

Please reserve the hate replies, but I tend to lean toward ARSENAL.

Mainly because, they were the first team I ever saw play when I got interested in football (the real football).  And, I was really sold on them when they had the undefeated season a couple of years ago.

All in all, anyone playing against Man U, I'm behind them 1000% to beat them down like they stole something.

Chelsea?  I was a distant admirer, but over the past couple of seasons, they seem to have gotten all up in themselves (like Man U) since their owner was throwing cash around and in essence, bought the EPL Championship.

Right. Your username. Is it motorhome with the 't' and 'h' missing, and, if so, why? :-?

Wow!!!  What a tough crowd.  I had a buddy I met in Germany who was from Northside London, he turned me on to watching the sport.  He did mention the passion of fans not only stem from the game itself, but there's some serious political and social overtones with the history of the EPL teams as well.  Ho hum, nevertheless, I love the game regardless of who's playing.

No, I'm not English, and there's no 't' or 'h' for the that matter.

LOL - I come from Buckinghamshire (English countryside for those outside the UK). We don't have 't' in our alphabet either.....
