Why on earth take it to a dealer for a flush. They won't do as good a job as you would...
Welcome back ;)

No, seriously Deano, why take it to VX for a flush?. They'll charge you good money for something you could easily do yourself and, as its your car, you'll do it more conscienciously than they will.
-
They will just empty the rad and top up - exactly the same as you can do in 10 mins. The key is that it needs to be done regular. Have a word with Laidback66 (username = Admin) who is in Derby and may be able to get you Vx Red antifreeze very cheap ;)
-
Indeed I may... ;)
Also I'd be b*ggered if I would take the car to Vx to be "flushed".
Do it yourself, it is both easy, and a heck of a lot cheaper, and you will do it better!
-
I'm sure if you don't know how to flush it, Laidback66 will drink your tea whilst pointing at the expansion tank and the drain tap ;D

Hi, as you may of read on the forum, it takes quite a few flushes to get rid of the oil out of the water, but i do believe even I could do it so it isn't that hard mate, save yourself a few quid and put it in the fuel tank :y
