A splendid piece - I'd forgotten just how good it was - and on that basis, many in the current ranks of the judicial cadre certainly took the lesson to heart and remembered it well  8-) ;)

State approbation in the form of the ubiquitous knighthood or the slightly more up-market – ticket to fiscal abuse and other easements – peerage, certainly helped the process immeasurably. :-X :-X

What do we say to propriety and good standing – toodle-oo of course?  What else? TTFN  :y :y

Hilarious. The man's a legend. I'd love to hear his take on the recent expenses claims!!! :y
