Title: i am going to work for a rest....
Post by: tunnie on 01 January 2010, 22:14:42
recently i am actually doing more work at home, than work.

Take yesterday, changed the oil on father tunnies 2.2, coolant, did the usual once over to make sure all is well, 6 hours fitting the exhaust to TB's MV6, sealed the hole in the floor plan on my 2.2 with with some sealant and hammerite.

Fitted new Nippy Normans screen to the beemer, really helped with wind hitting my lid, its much better now, can sit at 90 mph all day long with now, no need to crouch down. - Took the GS for a 50 mile burn. To err 'test' it  :)

Cleared up the after-math of TB working.

At work? checked a few e-mails, did a 5 min job in the CMS to remove an old story, spent rest of the day watching Sky Christmas HD  ::)

Wish every day was like today, roads were empty, never seen the M25 so clear, and to top it all, tripple pay  ;D

Having access to a pit would be very handy!

his dad was a home mechanic so had the pit done years ago, its 5ft by 2ft6 and 4ft deep. sadly he had to put his dad into care in the summer as hes gone a bit doolally and wasnt safe at home on his own.

Ok, so your next challenge at work is to see if you can go the whole day without actually doing anyhing at all. When you have nothing to do at work it can become quite boring, so plan to do nothing.
