Title: Email Spam Help

Explain this one to me.

Not much in the way of emails today, just 3 spam mails.

Scary bit is that one of them has my email addy to where it was sent, as the same person that has sent it.  content is one of these online dating agency things, but am now concerned that my account (Yahoo.com) has email issues.

My Dad gets loads of spam, apparently from himself....

never investigated, the way I set it up he doesnt seem em anyway

ie or other browsers keep logs-cookies etc of visited sites/parameters as you know..

and those sites has an activex that works in behind and steals your valuable info..

and also if someone clicks a bacteria including mail  ;D they can steal your email adres from him etc etc..

so no definite way out..

I believe that if you are clever enough you can "spoof" both the sender and recipient addresses that appear through the recipient's mail client. 

I've got my own domain, and unlimited e-mail addresses, so I tend to use a new address each time I go to an internet site I'm not 100% sure of.  If I start getting cr*p coming to that address, I just use the junkmail filters to delete it instantly.  Once or twice I've contacted the people who circulated my address without authorisation, but it never achieves anything.

Still get a load of rubbish appearing in the junkmail folder, though. :(

an army of mail server veterans working in my depts to prevent the minister taking those mails but no chance.. they cant ;D
