you can also see the wiper stalk has no buttons, consistent with CID as it is controlled through the stereo.

Thanks for that.....    so what does this mean for the likelihood of sat nav?

it's a 3.0 elite X reg 88K on the clock....  they're asking £1995

might go look at it....   but i have  a habit of buying things i go look at.....

not sure it's the best thing out there.....

having decided i want a newer one....  typically i want it NOW  before i get too busy again to have time to car hunt....

thanks for that....  sounds like it might be worth a trip

i've got cash on hand to buy it...   which is why it's dangerous for me to go see it....  sat nav is a must for me.......

so the next question is....

is £2k a fair price for an 88K mileage 3.0 Facelift Elite estate (in dark metallic green) on an X plate

???

It's worth whatever you're happy to pay for it ;) ;) ;)

To me, I'd be after something a little newer and with another 200cc's for that money ;) ;) :y :y

well  exactly....  but....   well  there aren;t many...   although there's a 51 plate 3.2 MV6 estate for £2.5K

similar mileage i think...

but i'm not sure i really like MV6 trim...  and living without built in sat nav is a step i'm not keen on...

as it is .... i'm struggling with the concept of the later facelift internal trim....   it's not nearly as nice as my mini-facelift...  far too  much plastic visible....

Not for me!!!!

I'd suggest you don't rush into buying anything... Josh seems to come up with the goods fairly regularly ;) ;)

If you do go and see it make sure the Sat Nav has the disc in it - its the CD slot you can see above the tape slot.

Looking at the brake pedal it has a fairly worn section - I would go over any and all history with a fine tooth comb and double check any reciepts he may have.  My last Omega had a fully stamped service book when I bought it but when I rang the garage that had stamped it up they didn't have my car on their system - lesson learned  :y
