Ok.....more info.......its this one:

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1170710229

Its got a sequential autogas LPG system fitted, masses of history including 4 new tyres, recent exhaust and loads of other work like DIS pack, leads, oil changes, idler arm etc......

Cost 100 quid to get it delivered and looks like it has an oil cooler failure.....

Any guesses on price?

Well imo if you got it for less than £500 then hes mad...sorry...somehow i suspect you did!

That'll break for almost as much as you can repair/sell for. Unless, of course, you're going to run it.

£350?

Squential lpg system is the key here.....ive known 6yo mondeos converted to lpg done well over 200k and still get near £700.....its the gas system they want  :y Drive it about till it breaks totally then rip the lpg system off and put it on another car!

I will take a wild stab in the dark at about £10,000.  Close?

Actually, I do know and I cannot possibly tell. Unless you bribe me guys.

It was very cheap....your all to pricey at the mo....

Looks in reasonable nick, lots of service history including annual LPG services etc...

No head light washers though.....no surprise there!

Glad it worked out for him
When I recommended this place to him when he bought my old car, it sounded like a nice project for someone.

I recon he would take anything to get rid after so long, so £100?

Close... it cost £150!

Nothing too serious by the looks of things. Needs some work, but we just happen to have a donor 3.0 Elite estate available too...  :)

I take it he's finished the bathroom then......

Erm.... not quite... ;D

As I pointed out to Mrs DTM last night, the car is a good thing. It means Mark has something to relax him, to remove the stresses of the bathroom installation, and make him a more pleasant person to be around.... ;)

Oh and it will help pay for the "how much?!?  :o" bath that Mrs DTM chose!  ;D

That reminds me. I've got a floor to tile in the en-suite. It seems SWMBO has given up moaning about it now it's been 18 months, and the marine ply we currently have seems OK  :y

Good luck with the project.

No, the bathroom is not finished....

SWMBO seems to think that getting in from work, cooking dinner, eating dinner and getting number 1 son off to bed leaves enough time to fully re-fit a bathroom in evenings with a maximum elapsed time of 1 week..........

Bloody part timer!

Oh, and don't forget that Co-ax please mate. Oh, and can I borrow your jack and ramps? Oh, and I could do with your mig welder too. Oh, and if you're not too busy, could you have a listen to the suspension on my corsa - thumping noise.

Then, after dinner..........

As I said, something to relax Mark...  ;D

Oh and if you are wondering why he comes home and cooks dinner when she is already at home?
Trust me, he cooks becuase it is safer that way!
Mrs DTM is a lovely woman, but cooking is NOT something at which she excels!  ::)

If Mr DTM does the 'pink' jobs, then surely Mrs DTM does the 'blue' jobs. So why hasn't she finished the bathroom ;D

Aaaaahhhaaaaa....

Testing point re the choccie biscuits is whether they are the bulk buy 10p per tonne supermarket bulk wraps or the upmarket individually wrapped ones....   :y   ;D

Having now seen it, I can say it does look very tidy underneath the grime.  Once the cooling issue is sorted, that is gonna be a money maker, and very sellable.

We should have stuck the Tech2 on it had we have thought about it.  Plenty of time yet though before its ready to be sold...

Much to be done on it (nothing too expensive by the looks of it....yet!).

Will take a while before much can be done though, someone needs to pull their finger out and finish a bathroom!   :P
