Title: Debs` snowy pics.
Post by: Debs. on 08 January 2010, 11:22:07
I know it`s 'wearing a bit thin' for us all.......but scenery is pretty in the snow.

"Voel Goch" mountain; as seen from (what used to be) my pasture:

The steepest part of my driveway; `really slick!

The driveway from hell: did I really shovel all that snow!?!

Waiting for the postman?.....I think not!

No work on leaky-Miggy today, I fear.

An idyllic fantasy picture Debs......that most people could only dream of looking at each morning.
However......what is the reality of living in such a remote area?.
Still exceptionally beautiful......whatever the drawbacks...... :y :y :y :y ;)

In this weather it's a pain in the arse Opti - I'm sick of the sight of snow and untreated roads and for 2 pence would be back to London tomorrow - if I were to be allowed of course.

On the 'up side': the dogs simply adore the snow......they`re like pups. again! :y

10 out of 10 for effort with the drive Debs!
The scenery is quite breathtaking.....
Can you get out or are the roads still blocked?
There is something to be said about living in a city..... ::)

An old chain saw motor and some fabrication, you would soon be buzzing down the drive to meet the postie.  :y

I've been to North Wales - there are places in "them thar hills" that even make Norfolk look sophisticated.

However, I once had a job in Mildenhall, and I would like to nominate that community as the inbreeding centre of the universe.  And I'm not even thinking about the Americans, although they might conceivably (sorry) be responsible, I suppose. :)

Great pics Debs  :y unfortunatly both the highlighted Items are forcast for the weekend. I didn't think it was that cold today (even though the overnight temp. was minus 12) due to the fact there was no wind. I think it will feel alot colder at the weekend when wind chill is factored in  :o
