Bit of an arty lane scene that didn't work out.

Liked this one a bit better. Only light source is street lighting in the next road, hence the strange colour cast on all of these photos. Light was too low to meter so I just took a stab at it.

Couple of light trails from people being towed up the hill.

Some lucky car driver just uncoupling from the 4x4 that's just rescued her. Lorry drivers bedded down for the night further along.

Snow plough and gritter doing their thing, and rescuing a car in the process. Lens is starting to get a bit snowy. ::)

The morning after.. Spot the MV6.

WFH today perhaps? I think so!

Yesterday morning and things are a bit brighter.
Another tree.

Yep. All taken since Tuesday evening. They were a bit smarter at getting the A31 open than in the snow before Christmas.

They're almost out of grit/salt now so our roads are getting bad.
Love the one of Mrs KW making a snow angel... Mrs LD was doing the same last night but camera had died, otherwise there'd be an almost identical picture of her ;) ;) ;D ;D

Very good pictures. Did you stick a polariser on the lens to really bring out the blue skies? :y

No. I often do but these are with nothing more than a skylight on the front and they are resized JPEGs straight out of the camera. I think the fact that the snow brings the average light level up probably has the effect of darkening the sky anyway.
