...for spending the last 7 hours changing my cam cover gaskets, while I cleaned breathers, changed spark plugs, but mainly watched and learned... :D
Time will tell if this cures the oil leak - oddly there was no real trace of oil under the covers or in the plug holes. The old plugs (which were new in November at the MOT before I bought it) were royally fubared though, probably as a result of it running rich due to broken knock sensor?
Anyway, I will keep an eye on the oil cooler pipe above the filter which is the next most-likely source. I believe Chris now wants a manual 3-litre after having a go in mine!

No problem, it was good to do them, learnt a few more quick ways of doing things - and how to do it on a PITA aircon pipe version (without the dippy bit!)
And yes, WTB: 3.0 Elite Manual ;)
Although I've picked up my project car today (thanks to meegaveesix) very pleased :D Can't get another one until I've shifted one of the now 3 cars outside my house (SWMBO orders ;D )
Cheers,
Chris.

Cheers James, it was a 7 hour haul, but we took a few ciggie breaks, despite Rich's stinking cold! And of course the obligatory McDonald's - still far better than the 10 hours I'd previously racked up, and guess what I WASN'T working through the night this time! :o ;D
