Title: got the missus crying, cruel sod.......

told her we were going to a show near norwich, turned up at a house in the sticks, i made out we were lost.
as we pulled into a drive- "to ask for directions" she spied a car that shes been craving for ages but not had the money.   she said "wow they have a car like the one ive been after for ages" "oh" i casually said !!
i returned back to the car with the owner and he gave the keys to the missus she was totally bemused, "its yours if you want it" i said. then the penny dropped as she realised it was all a set up.
we got it and she brought it home- shes been smiling like a cheshire cat ever since. its a car like this but bright red.(http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o66/toneavenger/x90.jpg) :y

well geezer, my birthday treat came 9 months early !!!
shes been very down since  some wa*(ers trashed her vitara cos they coudn't hotwire it for a joy ride. she lost out on her insurance excess and ended up with 60 quid so only could afford a cheap j reg pug 106.
ive got some bonuses from work so what the heck she deserves it bless her !!! :-*
