this person and those like him make my blood boil. the only reason for this clowns proposed march was provocation. those brave soldiers defend this country to make it a safe place to lay your head at night, and the luxury of freedom of speech gets abused by the likes of that moron, i could go on and on, but the muppet really isn't worth my time.

Andrew Neil rolled out the normal inane and predictable points and questions , approached it in a brusque and totally inappropriate manner and Choudrary actually fended them all without raising sweat ( or even his voice ) .
A woefully disappointing spectacle ( and lost opportunity ) which will only strengthen his support from his following.
Bring out Paxman..................

I thought Neil did well. Paxman would not have fared any better with such a person as Choudary. He evaded all the questions, but interestingly said "you'll have to wait and find out" when Neil pressed him on what the new name for his group would be.
Choudary is all the more dangerous because, like many of his ilk, not only is he clearly well-versed in evasiveness but also, like Macbeth's three witches, very good at equivocation when pressed. He claimed he never said "all adulterers, especially women, should be stoned to death"...but later went on to say that everyone should be subject to Sharia law.
An odious individual. >:( >:( >:(

My good friend Sig assures me that the matter will never gain traction on a wide spread basis.

jeesus - old Brillo Pad was so lame he made the mad religious nutter look reasonable, far better interview on newsnight with Paxo and a moderate muslim guy who truly showed what a dangerous loon this guy is and what medieval tosh he believes.
all Neil did was mock a guy on benefits, completely missing the big picture for the sake of some easy grandstanding - pompous old fool i'm afraid :(

You really must learn not to take fools like this too seriously. Sharia law? Cant even get that to stick in muslim countries. Man is man, and he does like a bit of what he aint suppose to. ;D

This will help get Sharia Law established.

As I said earlier, Nick, not many muslims are partial to sharia law. In fact, the more liberal thinking muslim workers (as opposed to scroungers) we import, the less likely sharia will succeed.
In case that doesn't happen, I'm looking for volunteers to wear these nice new belts I'm making. ;D
