Of all the things that you have ever bought, what five items have been the best (excluding the Omega!!) and have most improved your life in some way?
Its really hard to define, but I think mine are:
1/ Engagement/wedding ring (sorry if sickly!)
2/ Clearview stoves (woodburners) (sadly left in my old houses)
3/ 1988 Citroen 2CV (sadly written off by an old bat)
4/ Memory foam orthopedic pillow-goes every where I sleep
5/ My little collection of jolly tonka, models & diecast to represent cars I have owned
What are yours and why?
-
1. my bed. cost a fortune but well worth it
2. laptop
3. golf clubs
4. my present car.
5. my radio controlled alarm clock. had it about 11 years now and only on its third battery. never let me down. :y
-
1 My 12inch petrol angle grinder, had it 20 years now and only cost me fuel and one drive belt.
2 My petrol chainsaw, love using it, again 20 years old and only cost me a few new chains.
3 Our bed, I made myself from hardwood that was approx 100 years old when I aquired it.
4 Our house.
5 My leather jacket in 1978. I was the coolest kid in school. I was the only kid that had one. Still got it today, in the loft. Oh and it don't fit anymore for some reason ::)

Its a cracklemaster one off Ebay and its brilliant as in you don't have to store loads of CDs its all on a small card. As for sound I don't know because its in the Rover and the 3 speakers (one busted)are not the best ;D

No, it started out life as an ordinary TR7 but the owner before me spent £14000 on a restoration. It went well :)

When did he do that as the 3.9 engine didn't enter production until 1989 and was only fitted the range rover
-
It would have been about 95/96 as I bought the car in 97. From what I know it had Offenhouser inlet manifold, Holley 4 barrel carb, a mild knobbly stick, extractor manifolds and the internals messed with but don't know what.

Here's a couple of photos of our male Snow Leopard and female Bengal , Leo and Lilly.
They are both a registered breed called Serengeti's ,they were originally called Savanahas but the breeder had to change the type due to the latter being registered in America.
They are Siblings and their family tree is very intersting having a Snow Leopard three generations ago on the male side.
They are the most friendly .tame and intelligent cats I have ever encountered having traits more like a dog than a cat , and have brought us so much pleasure over the years we've had them.
Sadly Lilly , the cinamon Bengal , lost her battle with cancer last week and passed away . She had fought valiently for a year under going ground breaking Electro Chemeotherepy and major surgery to remove the tumour from her throat but it took her in the end. To say we miss her is a vast understatement and the vacuum left is tangeable .
Just wish we could turn the clock back.......... :'(
Thanks for all your interest

2) Percy Pickaxe (a worthy replacement to Sammy)
3) Charlie Clubhammer (for those hard-to-reach arsehole items)
4) Marty Mallet (for when I really don't want to cause too much damage)
5) First aid kit, for when above turns on me
The first 4 were worth every penny, as they help keep my blood pressure under control.
