Very true.

Guy accross the road many years ago had a marina Estate (mint condition) was totally lost and pulled up on the hard shoulder to find his map, bent over looking in the passenger footwell, a driver had a heart attack in his wagon , veered into the hard shoulder and tool the roof section off the Marina where the window rubbers are, didnt touch the bodywork below at all.

Motorway came to a standill and when motorists got to the car they found out neighber covereing accross the seats to scared to dare move.  He emerged completely unscratched.   :o

Mine would jump outa 1st gear & i hat to hold it in, because the syncro had gone ;D

I know what you mean with the Marina, I know it was one of the better ones trim wise and I think it was an 1800TC,

This is going to soulnd terrible but it was like a chesnut brown colour and looked nice.  Alltogh I am not a fan of the Marina's this was up to that point a very nice car.
