Must admit I love Lardpack full fat spreadable because it tastes great unlike 'I can't beleive it's not bollo*ks' that tastes more like axle grease than anything else.How come people that were brought up on proper butter all those yaers ago don't have loads of coronary problems?oh yeah it's beacause they got off their backsides to work off what they had eaten or is that a bit too simplistic?

They are cleverer than that Tony. They instill a fear that you are killing your own children, and they are so good at it that you start to look at what other people are doing to their children.
We all turn into a police force to support  their ridiculous policies.

Look at global warming. ::)

A bit of a waste of time, but nevertheless amusing.

I understand that there are moves afoot to ban fizzy drinks in the EU, maybe, perhaps. If that happens, I want to travel to the capital of France and buy the final can of that orange one.... ;)

The recipes demonstrated by most celebrity chefs have very little to do with real cooking.  Chuck half a dozen fridge items into bowl, add something a bit unusual that you'd have to go to Waitrose instead of Tesco to get, mix it all up (with your grubby mitts, of course) and serve.  Voilą! a meal fit for a (choose your own word) that will keep the peasantry believing they are eating well for another week (or until the next cooking show is on the TV).

I worked that out years ago Rich, and I didn't need anyone to tell me.

Let's face it, that was a man who went around the "people's" (your average working family) primary schools to promote healthy eating, then came up with a menu that even the rich f**kers would question the price of (and no-one with more than one working brain cell would consider a viable alternative anyway).
