Title: o2 broadband for 12 months or over?
Post by: richardirv on 18 January 2010, 09:09:06
Anyone had o2 broadband for 12 months or over? You might want to look at this.

I have just come to my contract renewal and have cancelled, only because you can get up to £125 cashback with www.topcashback.co.uk

So after you broadband stops you just sign up again through cashback and you get 2 months free with o2 + £100 cashback (Premium) = 12 months free ADSL2+ Broadband and a brand new Wireless N box.

Good deal if it all goes to plan.

p.s. If you sign up give me a PM first and I can send you a link, only say that as I get a £1 for referals. Every little helps. hehe  ;)

Yes, I did that not long ago.

quidco also do the cashback  :y

also been VERY happy with the service.

the firmware on the livebox2 router was a little poor, but flash it as a BE router (the same company) and it is solid as a rock  :y

Is that with o2? I have the original o2 wireless box and its been really solid.

Looking forward to getting the new wireless box though.

yes, mine would resyn daily / twice daily.

flashed to a BE firmware, and now syncs at a faster speed (and can maintain that throughput) for month or so at a time.

Good stuff, I don't mind messing around with firmwares if I have too.  ;)
