Title: MIG Welding gas (disposables)
Post by: Debs. on 19 January 2010, 20:18:20
Any MIG welding OOF`ers using C02 gas disposables?

I have a brand-new one and a very-nearly full one here; going 'begging'. ;)

`Have switched to a full size Argoshield bottle, so the two disposables are surplus, along with an appropriate Clarke regulator if desired, too.
.......established OOF user given preference. :y

The little 600g type ones? Yeah, I still do.  Not got into welding enough to warrant proper bottle yet  :-[

I use the little bottles too, normally Co2/Argon mix. I tend to stick to the smaller bottles as my welder lives in the boot of the car ;D

I would keep hold of the reg...you never know when you might need a bit of pure argon....

I trust you have got a deal and are not being fleeced by BOC

Indeed Mark; BOC terms are shocking! :o

I found a local(ish) supplier in Wrexham: £18. per year rental and £28. for gas: that`s for a 10 litre bottle  of 'Argon 5' (filled to 200 Bar).  :y

Refills/exchanges just £28.

*All prices +VAT.
